I've used several different listing tools over the years and switched to SixBit several years ago and couldn't be happier with my decision. My only regret is that it took me so long to find them.
SixBit is a tool that works well for me. For me, the key features I appreciate most are:
Create templates for boilerplate portions of listings - We all have parts of our listings that are standard such as terms of service. SixBit approaches that part of the listing a bit differently than all the others. They've stripped out that part of the listing in the form of a template that they call a "Description Wrapper". The description wrapper has a place where you indicate where the item's specific description will be inserted.
Not only does this keep your database smaller by eliminating a lot of duplication, but it also makes changes easier. If you have a change to your boilerplate text, simply change ONE description wrapper, apply the change to all your listings using that wrapper and you're done. Easy.
You can also have multiple description wrappers for different types of items....seasons, holidays, kids etc. There are a LOT of possibilities and and options in creating your description wrappers.
Items set up with all pricing options - This one is great. When you set up your item you can enter an Auction Starting price, a Buy It Now price AND a Fixed Price. When you're submitting your listings there's no changing prices back and forth. A big time saver.
There's also bulk edit options for pricing. You can bulk change item prices by a dollar amount or a percent. Want the BIN price to be 30% higher than the Fixed Price? Done.
Inventory Management - These might be my favorite parts. The inventory counts actually work. Other products I've used would result in oversold items or an item sold long ago that magically "appears" back in your inventory. Since I started using SixBit that hasn't happened once!
Inventory cost is managed for you and it can track multiple cost. For instance you buy 100 widgets at $5.00 each, sell some and then buy more at $5.25 each. SixBit will track the cost of the widgets sold and remaining inventory at the correct cost. This is a feature not found on many other options.
Like anything else that's different there's a learning curve. There's a lot of tools and options in SixBit. Those tools will save you time and allow you to quickly adapt to eBay changes and take advantage of listing specials without having to change prices or jump through hoops.
SixBit will save you time. Time that you can use to grow your eBay business.

Turbo Lister
Overview
eBay Turbo Lister is eBay's bulk listing tool for creating listings on your home computer.
UPDATE: Turbo Lister will not be supported after July 2020.
Key Features
Summary
I've used used Turbo Lister in the past and ran into problems with it. Mainly it involved something in the database getting corrupted that brought everything to a screeching halt. Many use it without issue, so it may have been just me. It's clunky and it isn't pretty but it is free.
